FAQ

  • The Shine Bright® Community Center welcomes nonprofit, and community-based organizations to host their event at our venue. Our venue is the perfect space for youth programming, workforce development, financial literacy and community events. We do not allow political campaigns, religious activities, or ticketed (paid) events. Alcohol and onsite sales transactions are prohibited. Read more about our policies below.

  • Yes, there is free parking for center visitors in a secured parking lot adjacent to the Discover Customer Care Center facility. Shine Bright® Community Center visitors use a shared parking space for Discover employees.

  • Yes, you can reserve the entire facility if the spaces are available on your preferred date and time. Check out the calendar to view availability. Click here.

  • The Shine Bright® Community Center has a maximum capacity of 100 persons.

  • To finalize your reservation, you must complete a reservation request. A member of the Shine Bright® Community Center team will reach out to you and confirm if your reservation has been approved. The cost to use the center is free for nonprofit organizations that qualify. We do ask organizations to submit their 501(c)3 documentation.

  • Yes, please email us at shinebrightcommunitycenter@discover.com to reschedule or cancel your reservation.

  • Yes, the Shine Bright® Community Center is open on Saturdays from
    9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • The Shine Bright® Community Center includes accessible bathrooms and state-of-the-art technology, including Wi-Fi, a projector and screen, microphones and an audio sound system. The center also includes access to a refrigerator and a catering prep area. A wellness room/breastfeeding room is also available to visitors.
