Our venue is the perfect space for youth programming, workforce development, financial literacy and community events. We do not allow political campaigns, religious activities, or ticketed (paid) events. Alcohol and onsite sales transactions are prohibited.

The Community Center is open Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm and Saturday 9:00pm-5:00pm. We ask that the event end by closing time including clean up.

The Shine Bright® Community Center has a maximum capacity of 235 seats, including pre-function space. The center can accommodate 400 persons throughout the entire center, standing.

Multi-purpose room (161)A and (161)B (combined)- 110 maximum. Various formats available, with different seating options from 50-110 seats. Projector & microphone capabilities.

Boardroom 120 – 28 seat maximum. 18 around a large table, 10 bench seating. Only one format available.
Boardroom 122 – 26 seat maximum. 16 around a table, 8 bench seating. Only one format available.
Boardroom 126 – 21 seat maximum. 13 around a table, 8 bench seating. Only one format available.
Boardroom 170 – 16 seat maximum. 10 around a table, 6 bench seating. Only one format available.

To reserve a room, please fill out the 2025 Reservation Request Form for the Whitehall Shine Bright Community Center. We ask for Reservation requests to be made at least 30 days prior to your event. We accept reservation requests up to 90 days in advance of your event to allow ample time to process your request. The Shine Bright team will reach out to you within 7 days to follow up with your request.

There is no cost to reserve the Shine Bright Center, however, the space can only be reserved by non-profits, schools, and government entities. If a business would like to use the space, they need to partner with a non-profit to co-host the event.

The Shine Bright® Community Center includes accessible bathrooms and virtual meeting technology. The center also includes access to a refrigerator and a catering prep area. A wellness room/breastfeeding room is also available to visitors. See the Community Center guidelines for more information.

Yes, the Shine Bright® Community Center has a free parking lot directly in front of the Community Center that is monitored by the security team.
